INCREDIBLE by JRC

torn, i examine emerald skin
these ivory teeth cannot help but grin
as day and night soon reconcile
my prescence greets you with a vicious smile

she, alert and alive, waited patiently, persistantly, curious as to what this life entails. her ample vigor allows her to, quietly, stalk her prey and yet, at the precise moment, pounce. the predator, she was agile, elite but still beautiful. she was as beautiful as her sleek and silky fur coat warranted. independant, she was respectful as her mother raised her but not bashful enough to resist sinking her claws into supper while her sharp and piercing teeth would follow. even with her brothers and sisters, she would allow them preview her playful bite as they would all wrestle, each one ready to tackle upon reflex. however, one day, she will be separated and become a blooming family's housewarming guest. Perspective by JRC

Lately, I've been pondering a few things. Lets say, you have a nice, luxurious lawn. You water it, mow it, take care of it to the best of your ability. Your lawn looks vibrant but on the other hand, your neighbors lawn looks atrocious. There are dirt patches, crab grass, and everything is overgrown. One day, your neighbor comes over for dinner. The topic comes up, you've got an excellent backyard out there, if only I had the time, mine could match. You say something like, well your lawn is kind of an eye sore, maybe you could put some effort into it, I mean I spend hours daily on my lawn. But wait a minute, he says, your retired so you have all the time in the world to tend to yours, I on the other hand work at an important business and have to work, what may be hours of yard work you do, I am also working hours, hours at work, hours raising a Family, and every night while you're admiring your lawn, I am admiring my nice family and career, it is very fulfilling. Now I ask one question, which neighbor's grass is really the greenest?
